Cast Iron Prices on the rise

Due to rising raw material costs and a shortage of iron ore worldwide, the steel prices are increasing. According to the World Steel Association, this year steel prices will fluctuate on the higher side, despite the recent decline.
This already effects the prices of nodular cast iron as can be seen in the graph.

Eventually this will lead to higher prices of the nodular cast iron VPI products, but the VPI team will constantly be looking for the best value for our customers.
