Prodect Innovations has developed a direct entry system, the Pro-UPS. The
Pro-UPS is installed in a pre-cut hole in the monopile. Installation of
the UPS is simple; the UPS has to be pulled in with a messenger wire, once
in place it is locked by tightening two bolts.
When the UPS is installed it acts like a direct monopile entry system for
an easy cable pull-in. The Pro-UPS provides a bell mouth on the outside
and a bend stiffener on the inside of the monopile.
