Raw Iron Prices down again

After a strong increase of the raw iron market prices reaching almost
€ 600 / ton during the first months of 2010, prices fell down again to
around € 430 / ton.
This raw material is used to manufacture the wellknown Pro-Pipes and as
Vos Prodect has the policy to secure and to buy raw materials in advance
at time of each order, prices for new orders, placed within the next weeks
will have a positive effect due to this decrease of raw material prices.
Vos Prodect is constantly discussing these price fluctuations openly with
the partner-foundries and our valued customers.
The market (automotive and construction) is slowly recovering from the
down terms, so the long term expectations are that due to the increased
demand for raw materials from countries such as China and Japan, prices
of raw materials will climb up again.
