Tests Cable Hang-off System

Vos Prodect Innovations is happy to announce that the Prototype of our Cable Hang-off System had been tested on April 13th-14th 2011. The test was witnessed by a well-known cable manufacturer.

The purpose of the test was to check whether the system could withstand the pulling force, specified by the customer and to identify final improvement possibilities. Testing of the system has been performed in accordance with these requirements and was succesfully completed.

Improvements have been defined for the surface of the clamping mechanism and furthermore to reduce the weight of the system.

In the coming weeks the final optimizations of the system will be performed by Vos Prodect, including in-house testing. The final and formal test for certification is scheduled for mid July 2011. After that, serial production will start. We expect the first systems installed in the field in 2012.
