Vos Prodect Innovations BV and Galva Power Group NV have performed several tests for the use of PRO-PIPES in severe Marine climates in accordance to Corrosion Class 5M (NEN-EN-ISO 12944-2) and have shown an increased lifetime up to 30 years.

An outstanding achievement.

More then 2.000 hours of testing has been performed together with the “Universiteit of Gent” (Belgium) and the “Institut für Korrosionsschutz” from Dresden (Germany).

A special pre-treatment of the casted PRO-PIPES and the appliance of the MICROZINQ® has been set with a layer thickness of only 19 instead of the usual 150 mµ anti-corrosion layer.

The MICROZINQ® not only protects the Protectors, but also the inside cables when the cover of the cables have been cut off. The PRO-PIPES will act as an anode to the cables and their armouring, securing also a long life of the cables without the danger of corrosion attacks.
