VPI is delighted to announce the contract with JDR for the delivery of VPI Hang-Off systems in the offshore wind farm Neart na Gaoithe (NnG). The NnG project, which is located near the mainland of Scotland, has the potential to generate 450 MW of renewable energy, supplying around 375,000 households.
After the project is completed and operational, the offshore substations will contribute directly to the export of energy generated by the offshore wind farm. The offshore wind park will offset over 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.The project, which is owned by EDF renewables and ESB, is expected to be fully operational in 2023.
