The versatility of VPI is expressed in various ways. One of these is the test capacities which are located at VPI premises in Klazienaveen, the Netherlands. All of our products are designed & developed in-house with an experience-driven innovation and are tested at our bespoke testing facilities, as well as at 3rd party facilities.
Our primary aim is to bring cost-efficient, well-functioning technologies to the market as a complete solution package to the benefit of our clients. To ensure that an offshore cabling operation is completed without failure as planned, we perform verification tests against the project requirements. It is also possible to request a test as a client when, for example, the safe working load on the Hang Off System has to be defined. A horizontal and vertical hang off test would be the perfect solution to that end, until the point of failure or destruction. Our testing facility gives VPI the confidence to ensure that the design requirements of your project are met by the products we design and supply.
With the testing facility onsite, VPI can perform various industry-related tests on associated cable systems. The following tests can be conducted: horizontal and vertical Hang Off tests, installation trials, Hang Off sealing tests, MBR and stiffness checks, pressure tests, and others available upon request.
